Terms and conditions
1 Activity required per calendar year to achieve or maintain status. Only qualified nights will count towards elite qualification.
2 New Elite Tier qualifications are valid for the 2026 calendar year. Any Elite member who reaches a new elite tier level in 2026, will maintain that tier level through December, 2027.
3 BWR members staying at an Executive Residency, SureStay Studio or @Home by Best Western property will receive 5 BWR points for each $1 USD spent on room revenue before taxes and fees.
4 A minimum of 5,000 points must be redeemed. Available at select hotels.
5 Points may not be available at all international locations. Complimentary water (based on location may be bottled or filtered).

Frequently asked questions
How can I earn points through Best Western Rewards?
Best Western Rewards members earn points for every U.S. dollar spent (or the equivalent for other currencies), on their room rate including VAT in certain areas outside the United States, but excluding amounts paid for non-VAT tax and incidentals. The rate paid must be a qualifying rate to receive rewards points or airline/partner rewards. Members can also receive points by shopping and converting points from other rewards programs or using services from our travel partners. (Points and earning rules may vary by partner).
Is there an expiration date for my Best Western Rewards points?
No, and since they don’t expire, your points will be waiting patiently for your next adventure, whether that’s in three weeks or three years.
Are there blackout dates for using free nights awards?
Free Room Nights are fully transferable and can be used at any Best Western lodging establishment in Asia, Australia, Europe, Central America, North America and South America that accepts the point value designated with the Free Room Night, subject to capacity controls and lodging establishment room availability, which may limit the availability of rooms offered at Best Western properties. Search for hotels using your Best Western Rewards points.
Can I transfer my points to another rewards member?
Yes - points can be transferred between accounts that share the same physical address. To arrange a point transfer, please contact our Best Western Rewards Rewards Customer Service team.
Are there other ways to redeem points besides free nights?
How many points do I earn per stay?
For qualifying rates, earn 10 points for every dollar you spend at most hotels—and 5 points at extended stay hotels. You’ll also earn even more points with every new milestone you hit and tier you reach.
